Cored Wire for Wear Protection

We supply flux-cored hardfacing wires in diameters of 1.2 to 4.0 mm. Our standard product range includes Ni, Fe, Co, and Al-based alloys. Furthermore, we can manufacture cored wires according to your specifications.
C-, CR-, WC- alloyed cored wire
C-, Cr-, WC-alloyed flux-cored wires are used everywhere where parts are exposed to highly abrasive wear. The weld metal is hardly machinable by metal cutting. Owing to the corrosion resistant alloy matrix, the weld metal is suitable for use in wet areas. Typical applications: mixer blades, concrete gland packings, lime breaker mills, screw conveyors, plows for agriculture as well as applications in the metallurgical industry. For higher corrosion resistance, an alloy with higher Co content should be used.
C-, Cr-, Ni-, V-, Mo-alloyed cored wire
C-, Cr-, Ni-, V-, Mo-alloyed cored wires are suitable for surfacing parts which are subject to wear and friction and exposed to impact stress. The weld metal is corrosion resistant and easy to grind with CBN. This of type of cored wire is found in mining, for example in plots on bucket wheel excavators, chutes, conveyor troughs and chassis units.
